Monday, August 7 (2023) – Owosso, MI – As we gear up for another exciting fall sports season, Dr. Ashraf Elbanna, Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Surgeon at Memorial Healthcare Center for Orthopedics, will be hosting a Monday walk-in clinic to evaluate acute orthopedic sports injuries for adolescent and high school athletes. This year, Tarah Rakoski, PA-C and Certified Athletic Trainer, Allan Goetzinger will be joining Dr. Elbanna in the evaluation and treatment of athletes.
Whether you’re dealing with sprains, strains, bruises, or any other athletic mishaps, Dr. Elbanna and his highly skilled team are here to help athletes get back on their feet and into the game. This clinic allows for x-rays to be promptly taken and reviewed, access to an advanced 3T MRI, CT scan or further imaging needs (pending insurance authorization) and treatment at a more cost-effective rate than an emergency department visit.
This clinic will be held every Monday, starting August 14, and ending October 16. Athletes will be seen on a walk-in basis from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at Memorial Healthcare Center for Orthopedics, located in the NOW building at 819 N. Shiawassee Street, second floor, in Owosso. In the event an injury arises Tuesday through Thursday, you may call the office for advanced scheduling.
Parental consent is required before treatment and fees are applied with insurance being billed. For more information, please call Memorial Healthcare Center for Orthopedics at (989) 541-BONE or click here.
