Memorial Healthcare offers patients a full-service laboratory for receiving various types of testing. The laboratory staff is delivers trusted pathology services, located in Owosso and serving Greater Shiawassee County and other areas of Michigan.
Expansive Laboratory Services
To better meet the needs of patients throughout the community, the laboratory team runs an extensive Outreach Services Program with various collection sites throughout mid-Michigan. They work directly with local physicians to obtain specimens at their practices for testing. Besides administering tests at the hospital laboratory, Memorial Healthcare also partners with Mayo Reference Lab to conduct screenings.
Accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the Memorial Healthcare laboratory upholds the organization’s high standards for quality and safety when performing all pathology services. Additionally, the healthcare facility is a Joint Venture Hospital Laboratory (JVHL) member of the GreatLakes Laboratory Network.
