About Dr. Rosemarie Walch, DO
Dr. Walch is board-certified in neurology and obesity medicine. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing her neurology residency at Ascension Macomb Oakland serving as a chief resident her final year, she completed her fellowship training in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology at the University of Cincinnati/UC Health at the prestigious Waddell Center for Multiple Sclerosis.
Prior to joining Memorial Healthcare Institute for Neuroscience, Dr. Walch worked at the Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders in Farmington Hills, MI. She served as an instructor for the William Beaumont School of Medicine/Oakland University and the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Walch serves on the Board of Trustees for the Michigan Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is also an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Center, and the American Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis.

My experience with Dr. Walsh was extremely positive! I have had 5 neurologists over the past 26 years, none of which seemed to understand MS nor offered me much hope. They pretty much asked me what medication I wanted to try and wrote a prescription. Dr. Walch is entirely different! From the moment she walked in the room she exuded positivity, caring and hope. She listened to me, conveyed excitement about the available options, took control and scheduled the necessary teams to come in to evaluate me in the exam room so everything was taken care of within a couple hours. It was wonderful. I can't get over how positive the experience was!
