Dr. Rory Cocks, specializing in podiatry, is part of the world-class team at Memorial Healthcare Center for Orthopedics in Owosso.
Dr. Cocks is a graduate of Kent State University and is board-certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Cocks completed his residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, MI. During his time there, he served as the chief resident. Dr. Cocks completed coursework and mini fellowships at the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS) in Ilizarov multi-planar ring fixators and total ankle replacement. He also completed microsurgery coursework at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Cocks is the published author of numerous research and medical articles on podiatric medicine and surgery and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons.

Most Dr.'s dumb down explanations assuming you are not knowledgeable. I felt like more of an equal as opposed to another dumb patient. I can't say enough about how positive my experience was

Dr. Cocks is an amazing doctor. He answered every question me and my mom had, explained both procedures perfectly and explained which one he would recommend. He listened to both our concerns and helped us not worry. I do recommend him to others as he is a great doctor.

Everything was handled very well. This is the second time I've been there first time was for some other foot issue and I had after that visit. Recommended him to my dad and he went and seen him last year for toenail removal.
