Dr. Rory Cocks, specializing in podiatry, is part of the world-class team at Memorial Healthcare Center for Orthopedics in Owosso.
Dr. Cocks is a graduate of Kent State University and is board-certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Cocks completed his residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Warren, MI. During his time there, he served as the chief resident. Dr. Cocks completed coursework and mini fellowships at the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons (AENS) in Ilizarov multi-planar ring fixators and total ankle replacement. He also completed microsurgery coursework at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Cocks is the published author of numerous research and medical articles on podiatric medicine and surgery and is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons.

Dr made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about regarding my past history. Seemed like he did not believe what had been completed.
I personally have never been treated poorly. Twice over the years I have been bumped from the scheduled time due to the need of an emergency. Iwas kept in on the reasons for the changes. I have been impressed with the care shown tome and Others.

A problem I have been having my whole life was looked at with care and empathy. The solutions were discussed fully, questions answered and advice given. Didn't seem interested in listening to my concerns or explanations and experience with other providers for same problem. Had to change to this provider because if insurance changes. Didn't take into consideration what previous providers had to say about problem.

I skipped a couple of these questions, because Dr Cocks has performed this foot injection on me a couple times before and the first time, he had given me minor instructions and I had asked most of the questions the first time, as well.
I was a little confused about further treatment and was told all info was on the handout
Overall experience was professional and caring.
