Asked questions if I understood my options and what to be prepared for.

Dr. Kurdi is truly a wonderful orthopedic surgeon who combines expertise with genuine compassion for his patients. During my recent visit, he took the time to throughly explain my diagnosis and treatment options available, ensuring I understood every step of the process. His willingness to answer all my questions made me feel confident and informed about my care. While he is attentive and responsive, his expertise and dedication are most evident in the quality of care he provides. Owosso and its surrounding communities are lucky to have him!

Dr. Kurdi, when everything appeared perfect during my posh test, it was found out that it definitely was not. I believe if I had had my surgery, then it would have gravely affected my health my blood sugar, and my blood pressure had totally done a turnaround and to have surgery would be putting myself in peril. That may sound extreme, but I had no idea that my blood pressure had soared back up and that my blood sugar had also climbed upwards not the best scenario for my surgery so they let me know the same day that my surgery was canceled, and they went into the process of , seeing what needed to be done and got things on the road to where I could have my surgery. I felt very watched over.

Felt like I was told "this is what you have" there could be no other thing wrong, move along, when I asked other questions there was no time and I was made to feel like I was a problem for even bringing them uppoor service

It was the fastest appointment I have eve had. Didn't feel like I could talk about much and sent off for more imaging.

May 03, 2024

He didn't want to rush into surgery and I'm good with that.

May 02, 2024

Very kind and answered all my questions.

Dr. Kurdi was impatient I didn't seem to care about how I was progressing post injection. It felt like how was out the door before he even got started. He didn't want to listen or explain much.

Dr Kurdi spent a lot of time explaining the procedures and process that was going to occur during surgery. It was very helpful.

Dr. Kurdi took the time necessary to answer all my questions I had prepared for the visit. This was routine for him, but very unique for me. I appreciate all the straight forward answers I received.

My previous experiences with this hospital were more efficient (as I recall), and the quality of care was very good. It seems things are less organized--a result of a new facility and maybe a large practice? I know my concerns were perhaps not as urgent as those of others, and I want to continue with these caregivers, but hope that things can be done more efficiently in the future. When hearing the diagnosis (delivered by two people, but quickly), I did not have enough time to formulate my questions completely. They asked me about questions, but some of these required some "think time" on my part. What was not addressed is WHY or HOW my condition developed.

I can't say enough good things about Dr.Kurdi. He is wonderful, and very caring towards his patients.

Mar 20, 2024

I felt very unseen my Dr. Kurdi. I waited for an hour on my appointment date and two weeks to get in to see him for him to see me for 5 minutes and tell me that I needed an MRI. I knew that when I came out of the ER that that would be the case.

I felt the Dr. Thought I should be doing better than where I was. Pushed me to do better, which is fine, but I wasn't there/ready yet.
