She, along with her team of clinical pharmacists, nurses, and home health professionals, meet with each patient and their families during this memory clinic appointment. The goal is to provide care and treatment that extends beyond medicines and to improve the quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. Maybe a little more time and personal care after waiting so long for an appointment. She handed me 2 pamphlets when we left. Set up some appointments for further test and a follow up apt. In May. That will be almost a year when we started this process.
I have recommended Dr. Leahy to a number of friends and acquaintances, as well as all of the people that have had a hand in my care.

The doctor was very satisfied with the results of our consultation. She suggested that I should talk to someone about the loss of my father. Other than that, she felt that I didn't need to come see her any more, unless there where some changes. I guess I would recommend her If I knew of someone who needed her.
The doctor wanted me to stop taking a particular drug but gave no alternatives, that was confusing.
