At our last appointment Dr. Pruitt wouldn't let me get a word in, opting instead to talk over me every time I started to speak. He scoffed and rolled his eyes when I told him I had read something related to my condition on the internet, as if to say that any info found on the internet is inherently false. Dr. Pruitt clearly doesn't believe my interpretation of that is happening to me physically when my condition flares up (if you will), but his unwillingness to even entertain the idea that I might know what's going on with my own body, when it's something that is documented in medical journals, is why I have made the decision to not continue In his care. This is because even if I'm completely wrong (despite providing photographic evidence and lab samples), delusional, having a psychotic break, or what have you; my key take away is that Dr. Pruitt is not concerned about my concerns. I don't think he really understands my concerns but if he doesn't care I guess I shouldn't either. Perhaps the condition needs to worsen (or I need insurance that pays out more than Medicaid) before I will be taken seriously.
Listen to my concerns and included me in the plan of my care

Dr. Pruitt is a caring physician and puts his patient's fears at ease. I would recommend Dr. Pruitt to anyone who wants answers to their health concerns. Carries on a great conversation with a retired nurse!
The whole experience was good.
