Amber is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at the Memorial Healthcare Cancer Center. I was provided with an extremely thorough work up and the concern for my well being was palpable throughout. We touched upon oncology, endocrinology, genetic and epigenetic factors, radiology findings and even pain management. We also discussed relevant lab results before necessary future testing was ordered. Consults were taken on with other Memorial providers just to verify many critical aspects of our appointment and to plan a path forward. Quite frankly it was a very empowering appointment that truly represented a carefully measured, holistic and collaborative approach to my treatment.
