Owosso, MI, [June 18, 2024] — Memorial Healthcare is excited to announce the development of a new, larger, and more convenient urgent care location in Owosso, scheduled to open in the fall of 2024. This state-of-the-art facility, located in the former Rite-Aid building, will also offer a full range of retail pharmacy services to the community.
The new location is designed to enhance patient access to high-quality urgent care and comprehensive pharmacy services under one roof. This expansion not only addresses the growing need for healthcare services in Owosso but also revitalizes a vacant building, contributing to the community’s development.

As part of this expansion, Memorial’s urgent care clinics at 239 N. State Road and 200 Health Park in Owosso will merge into the new location, ensuring a streamlined and efficient experience for patients.
When the pharmacy is open, customers have the convenience of dropping off and picking up their prescriptions either by walking in or using the drive-thru. The pharmacy will provide a wide selection of over-the-counter medications, durable medical equipment, and other common retail pharmacy items. Furthermore, the pharmacy will feature extended hours that are currently unavailable in the community.
Starting on August 9, Memorial Healthcare will introduce a new retail pharmacy app called RX Local. With this app, customers can manage their prescriptions, request refills, set reminders, pre-pay for prescriptions, and schedule home deliveries within a 25-mile radius of the main campus in Owosso.
