About Dr. Patrick Yousif, DO
Dr. Yousif is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Rheumatologist. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency as Chief Resident at Wayne State University School of Medicine at Detroit Medical Center Sinai-Grace Hospital. Dr. Yousif completed his Rheumatology Fellowship as Chief Fellow at Case Western Reserve/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Yousif has training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and certification in the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR). He regularly performs joint injections and aspirations in the office. He has been involved in medical education, previously serving as teaching faculty in Rheumatology at Henry Ford Health and Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
Dr. Yousif has authored and co-authored numerous publications and scholarly medical articles. He is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA).

Dr Yousif listens to me and answers all my questions/concerns in a clear concise manner. He is interested in you and wants to help you get better.
Nice Dr. A little dismissiveness, but I can understand somewhat due to prior doctors decisions. I know he wants to come up with an easy answer but I don't think there is one. He's neutral when science says he should be. But nobody is well versed in the disease I'm being tested for. We will see how he does. I agree at starting at zero point information and going forward.

I have enjoyed and appreciated that he is always willing to listen and involve me and my family In any discussion of trreatment or decisions to be made after his thorough enlightenment and education of the treatment options. He instills the utmost confidence in us of in his ability and thorough knowledge of his profession.

Dr. Patrick Yousif took the time to carefully listen to my concerns and review my medical history. I especially appreciated that he did not rush to a diagnosis or make assumptions. Instead, he performed a thorough evaluation, explained his thinking clearly, and recommended additional testing and a joint aspiration to rule out possible causes before reaching conclusions. I left feeling that my concerns were heard and that we have a thoughtful, evidence-based plan moving forward. I would confidently recommend Dr. Yousif to others seeking a rheumatologist.
One of the nicest doctors I've ever met. Very caring about the issues im having and wants to understand all the variables happening to help me as much as possible.

Total professional-Good
Dr seemed truly concerned about my well-being however I left Office with medication's being suspended and no Replacement. I have Sjogren's syndrome and have been taking hydroxychloroquine for many many years that was a concern for the doctor. However, the medication has worked very well and I now am beginning to feel more dryness and itchiness of the skin. I can take Tylenol for the pain and I am glad to be off the opioid. I realize that is a concern of the doctor as well as the hydroxychloroquine and my history of macular degeneration. I am sure the doctor will figure things out.

Would never recommend this doctor, I told my doctor about his "treatment recommendation" and he was incredibly concerned and recommended I get a new doctor as it turns out my weight wasn't the problem, who would have thought that! A good doctor would have apparently!
Felt like there was no plan except video call again in 3 mos. So basically nothing is happening which defeats the purpose of the visitDiagnostics were done and fine but, then it seems like crickets

Doctor did not have any of my past records from the other Rheumatologist so he was limited a bit but we set forth a plan of action
