About Dr. Patrick Yousif, DO
Dr. Yousif is a board-certified and fellowship-trained Rheumatologist. He earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency as Chief Resident at Wayne State University School of Medicine at Detroit Medical Center Sinai-Grace Hospital. Dr. Yousif completed his Rheumatology Fellowship as Chief Fellow at Case Western Reserve/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Dr. Yousif has training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and certification in the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR). He regularly performs joint injections and aspirations in the office. He has been involved in medical education, previously serving as teaching faculty in Rheumatology at Henry Ford Health and Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine.
Dr. Yousif has authored and co-authored numerous publications and scholarly medical articles. He is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA).

With my diagnosis it's been a long journey and I often feel very gaslit about the pain I experience, it is odd to me as well however I love it daily and it does take a lot to deal with all the issues. I understand the need for a strong mental health system with CBT as well as systems and routines to manage. He did a wonderful job of seeing me the patient I believe.

I drove over one hour to see Dr Yousif. It was well worth it. He is by far, the best doctor that I've ever met with. Dr Yousif empathizes, explains complex concepts with ease, provides visuals. He comes off as a wonderful human and intellectual that knows his craft.

By the end of the appointment, I was in tears because I finally felt validated and heard-he didn't brush my concerns off. Memorial Healthcare is incredibly lucky to have him on their team. I can't recommend him enough, and they should feel really fortunate to have someone like him working for them.
