Definitely felt unvalidated with my symptoms and how I feel, felt gaslit actually. Felt none of my issues were recognized nor was I given the time to try and explain them. The doctor kept pressing with questions before I had time to process and answer.
I even asked what all you specifically are, for myself and I have also passed on to others .
While I was very happy to be able to see someone locally, I took offense that he was not warm and kind about why I was there. I don't feel that he thoroughly read through my UM visit notes about my medical history with head and neck cancer followed by a benign brain tumor with a complex craniotomy surgery, along with some vision loss, cognitive, and balance issues. Instead he commented about how many doctors I had seen at UM, which were actually not all doctors but many pre-op services as well as different medical specialty referrals trying to get to the bottom of my post-op multi-factorial puzzle. In the end he basically said my issues were in my mind and not actually there. Fortunately he did at least order PT for vestibular issues.
Dr. Brune does not talk much or provide much information. I left the appointment feeling confused about what little information he offered.
This is one of the best doctor visits I have ever had. Dr. Brune did what 7 neurologists over 20 years couldn't do. He listened, took me seriously, made a diagnosis, and offered solutions.
I felt like I wasn't heard, like perhaps I was making up my symptoms
Dr. Brune is very understanding and caring.

Dr Brune was knowledgeable, professional yet very personable. I felt at ease immediately and was able to communicate with him easily.
Can't say enough good about the doctor and staff.
He was nice. However, I didn't feel like I was taken seriously in my complaint of issue. I struggled with one test and even stated I felt like I was guessing. Then he stated at the end of appointment I passed it.
