Memorial Healthcare Welcomes Two New Counselors

Tuesday, July 22, 2025 — Owosso, Michigan — Memorial Healthcare is pleased to welcome Stephanie Chapman, LLMSW, and Sarah Tomcala, LPC, to its growing team at Memorial Healthcare Counseling Services.

Stephanie Chapman, LLMSW

Stephanie  holds a Master of Social Work from Simmons University and is licensed in the State of Michigan. She joins from the DBT Institute of Michigan, where she specialized in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Stephanie works with patients ages 13 and up, focusing on emotional regulation, trauma-informed care, and skills-based group therapy.

Sara Tomcala, LPC

Sarah earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in counseling from Grace College in Indiana. Most recently with Great Lakes Psychology Group in Owosso, she provided telehealth services addressing substance use, family conflict, grief, PTSD, and mood disorders. Sarah sees patients ages 12 and up and emphasizes supportive, family-focused care.

Both Stephanie and Sarah are now accepting new patients and work with most insurance providers.
