Wednesday, September 24, 2025 — Owosso, Michigan — Memorial Healthcare is pleased to welcome April Morris, RN, MS, NP-BC, to our active medical staff. April will be working closely with Dr. Steven Simensky at the Memorial Healthcare Institute for Neuroscience in Okemos.
April is an experienced neurology nurse practitioner with a strong track record in diagnosing, treating, and educating patients with complex neurologic conditions. Her background spans outpatient neurology (dementia, epilepsy, neuromuscular and movement disorders), post-hospital follow-ups, case management, and patient and family education. April has also taught and precepted learners in academic settings at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University, and served as a preceptor for nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and social workers.
April holds a dual master degree in Adult and Women’s Health from the University of Michigan and is now accepting new patients with most insurance plans.
