Memorial Healthcare Trauma Department Offers Free “Stop The Bleed” Training Class

Thursday, November 13 (2025) – Owosso, MI – The Memorial Healthcare Trauma department is offering a FREE Stop The Bleed training class designed to empower community members with the skills and confidence to save lives in emergency situations.

The class will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Memorial Healthcare NOW Building, Educational Theatre, 819 N. Shiawassee Street, Owosso.

Stop The Bleed is a national initiative that teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding and take immediate, effective action until professional help arrives. During this one-hour, hands-on class, participants will:

  • Learn how to control hemorrhage in an emergency
  • Review and practice vital bleeding control skills
  • Gain the confidence to act quickly when every second counts
