“Make a Difference Day” Happening October 19th at Memorial Healthcare

Wednesday, October 16 (2024) — Owosso, Michigan Join us this Saturday, October 19th, 2024, starting at 8AM for our annual “Make a Difference Day” at Memorial Healthcare (826 W. King Street, Owosso).

Registration will begin at 8AM and the FREE food drive-thru distribution will begin at 9AM. Please bring proof of residency (e.g. an electric bill or phone bill).

On one day each year, Memorial Healthcare and area volunteers invite the community to participate in this uplifting event by making a difference and improving the lives of others. No matter who you are or where you’re from, everyone can unite with a common mission to make a difference in their community, because together we can make a difference.

“Make a Difference Day” is one of the largest annual single-days of community service nationwide.  Whether it’s starting a project that helps one person, or working on one that benefits a whole community, every contribution makes a difference. Celebrated on the fourth Saturday of October, thousands of volunteers unite with the same common mission – “to improve the lives of others.”
