Thursday, July 16 (2026) — Owosso, Michigan — Memorial Healthcare is partnering with Owosso Speedway to offer free skin cancer screenings to the public on Wednesday, August 26, from 9 AM to 3 PM. The screenings will take place at Owosso Speedway prior to the Michigan 300 ASA STARS National Series race at 6 PM.
As part of Memorial Healthcare’s commitment to accessible, community-based care, the organization’s expert dermatology team will provide free skin cancer screenings aboard its mobile health unit. The event is designed to encourage early detection and increase awareness of the importance of routine skin cancer screenings.
Early detection is one of the most effective tools in the fight against skin cancer. During previous community screening events, healthcare professionals have identified potentially concerning lesions, allowing individuals to seek timely follow-up care and treatment.
